Before advisors can link a trust’s assets to Luminary, an Addepar firm administrator will have to complete a firm-level setup for the integration. Then, users can complete the following steps.
1
Connect Luminary to Addepar
Go to Luminary’s user settings to connect to Addepar.
2
Link Luminary grantors to Addepar portfolios
Associate the Luminary grantor to the corresponding Addepar client from the Luminary Client Details Page by selecting the appropriate “Grantor.”
3
Link Luminary entities to Addepar entities
Associate new or existing Luminary entities to Addepar entities from the Luminary’s entity details page. After linking, values will update on a daily basis.
Who can use the integration?
After the integration is set up by a firm administrator, any user can be given access to the integration through Addepar Firm Administration.
Will changes made to an asset in Luminary update in Addepar?
No. The integration only syncs asset values from Addepar to Luminary. Data syncs on a daily basis.
Which portfolios can users link to Luminary?
Users can only link portfolios they have access to in Addepar, so it’s recommended each user has their own Addepar login.
