Create an Addepar account for a functional, integration-specific user and grant the required permissions and access
Create Overstone View in Addepar
Once you have completed setting the integration-specific user and the API key and secret, you need to set a custom view in Addepar which will be used and populated by Overstone.
Configuring the Overstone Platform
Sign In to your Overstone account and follow the required steps in order to activate the integration.
What information do I need to provide to have my artwork valued and monitored?
All art work data can be structured and stored on the Overstone platform. For works to be scored for their financial indicators, valued and monitored client would need to provide:
1. Artist
2. Artwork title
3. Image
4. Date of creation
5. Measurements
Optional: Previous valuation and date of valuation, purchase price and date of acquisition, any additional information regarding authenticity, provenance, exhibition and literature, condition reports.
Can I have access to the extended Overstone platform?
The Overstone platform is used to structure and analyze the data, Financial indicators are then fed back to the Addepar interface for a holistic view of a client’s assets. To view additional features and services available via the Overstone platform, please contact: info@overstoneassociates.com
What valuation/accreditation does Overstone have?
Overstone valuers are certified by the ISA (international Society of Appraisers), and have significant experience across categories working for the leading auction houses.
What type of value does Overstone provide?
By default, Overstone will provide an auction estimate, using the Open Market Valuation (mid-estimate) for the purpose of calculations. Please indicate if other valuation, such as insurance, is required when transferring the data.
