Do It Yourself
To set up this integration, follow the instructions below and have your credentials ready. If you need help, contact Addepar support.
View Configuration GuideStep 1: Navigate to Integrations
Go to Organization Settings → Integrations to get started.
Step 2: Connect Addepar
Find the Addepar section and click Connect. You will be prompted to authorize the connection via OAuth.
Step 3: Map Portfolio IDs to Vaults
Open Vault Manager. You will notice a new Addepar Portfolio IDs column. Click on any cell to assign one or more Addepar portfolios to that vault — each portfolio is shown with both its ID and name to help you select the right one.
Once your portfolios are mapped, you are ready to generate and distribute reports.
Who can set up and manage the integration?
To set up and manage the integration you need access on both sides: in Addepar, the Access to all tools and portfolios permission; in Trusted Family, the Organization owner and Vault manager roles.
Can I control which reports are shared and with whom?
Yes. As a one-time setup, you assign Addepar portfolio IDs to specific document vaults. Then, each time you create a distribution, you choose which of your Addepar report templates to generate from and select which of the mapped vaults should receive the reports. Who sees a report is determined by the members assigned to the receiving vault.
Can I generate reports for multiple portfolios at once?
Yes. One distribution covers every vault you select, generating and delivering all reports in a single action. A vault can hold multiple portfolio IDs, and the same ID can be assigned to several vaults.
