Contact support@planwithvoyant.com to request Addepar access to your subscription.
Grant User Access in Addepar
Go to Firm Administration > Integrations and select "Voyant". Grant access to users to use the integration.
Import Client
On the Clients tab, select the plus button in the green circle in the bottom right corner and choose "Import Client." Then choose Addepar. You will need their birthdate (MM/DD/YYYY) for creating the client in Voyant.
Connect To Addepar
Follow login instructions as directed to connect your accounts together to be able to access your Addepar clients in Voyant.
Search for Client
Client Name must be entered exactly as it is written in Addepar - case and space sensitive. Search and select client's name when it appears.
Review Any Unknown Accounts
You will be prompted to review any Unknown Accounts brought from Addepar to Voyant. Uknown Accounts will be listed and you will select "Next." For each account that was listed you will need to select the appropriate "Account Type" from the dropdown options as well as the sub-type until complete.
Complete Import Summary
When "+ Add" is highlighted that means that account is ready to be imported. For any accounts you would not like to import, select "X Skip" followed by selecting "Done" when you are ready.
Review Any Errors + Add Additional People
Dependent on account types, you will be prompted to review any errors right away. For this example, each trust account needs the appropriate beneficiaries noted within Voyant. Select each Trust account found on your Dashboard under "Trusts" and choose "Beneficiaries" tab on the left. Add percentage as appropriate. *If plan has additional family members not initially added from Addepar, you can add them by selecting the plus button in the bottom right corner and select the "People" button. Follow steps.
Use Holdings
Review each account listed under "Savings & Investments" and ensure your preferred Growth preference is selected in the system. Click on the account on your Dashboard and choose "Growth" tab on the left side. To use the holdings imported from Addepar, select "Use Holdings" on the top right followed by "Done." Repeat for each imported account.
How do I get initial access to the Addepar integration?
If your firm has an account with Addepar and you don’t see them in your list of import options, subscription owners and administrators can manage this list of available import sources or contact Voyant Support (support@planwithvoyant.com) for assistance.
The “Import Client” option is hidden. How do I make it accessible?
This button is shown only conditionally, when your account is configured with at least one partner integration, otherwise the button will be hidden. To add the “Import Client” option to select Addepar, subscription owners and admins can add it within the Admin Console by selecting “View Subscription Extensions.” Then choose “Addepar” from the list of options on the left side of the page.
